We have made the proactive decision to close our lobby effective March 20, 2020. We are taking this step to reduce the health risks to our employees and members. Enforcing social distancing and limiting face to face interactions is a necessary step to help us keep branch operations running, without interruptions, as seamlessly as possible. 

Branch Operations:

At this time, staff will remain on site to continue daily operations and answer your phone calls, you may also email us at helpdesk@optionscreditunion.com. We realize there may be situations where something must be handled in person, If you have a specific issue that you feel requires you to visit us you will need to make an appointment. Please call us in advance to discuss your options, we may be able to address your need over the phone.

We encourage you to use remote deposits instead of visiting any branch office at this time. Those of you who use shared branching may find locations open with drive-thru capability. 

Help When You Need It:

We are invested in our members well being and are prepared to help current members who have been adversely affected by this pandemic due to lost wages. Please contact us to discuss your situation. Additionally, below is a partial list of available options we are currently offering to alleviate any interruptions due to the lobby closure:

  • Early withdrawal penalties on CD's will be waived

  • You can sign up for a Guaranteed Protection loan to cover your account in the event of an overdraft, application fees will be waived and proof of income is not required

  • We will waive fees for over the phone loan payments and deposits

  • We will waive ATM transaction fees

  • We will increase your daily ATM withdrawal limits

  • We will waive mobile deposit fees for business accounts

  • We will increase your mobile deposit limits

  • We will waive fees for issuing cashier checks

Access to Your Accounts:

If you are not currently enrolled in these valuable electronic services we encourage you to get set up, and establish your credentials now, in case you need access during an operational interruption. If you need assistance with any of these services please call us at 303-860-1117.

  • eTeller - use online banking through eTeller and get access to our bill pay service, complimentary, so that you won't miss payments.

  • mTeller- our mobile banking app offers remote deposit capture which you will be able to use from the safety of your home to make check deposits to your account. 

  • Shared Branching - there is a nationwide network of shared branch offices that members can use to transact business, as guidance continues to evolve regarding curfews, shelter in place, and quarantine we encourage you to call ahead as not all locations may be open.

  • Surcharge free ATMs - your debit cards work just like an ATM card, using your PIN, at any ATM that accepts Mastercard, additionally you can use COOP ATMs surcharge free to access funds and make deposits.

Monitoring Your Accounts:

It is increasingly more important than ever to monitor your account and debit card transactions diligently. During times like these the fraudsters are expecting you to have your guard down. We offer the following tools to help you protect your account. Click the links to find out how to access these tools:

  • CardValet - use this app to receive alerts each time your debit card is used, and turn it off immediately if you lose it or suspect fraud.

  • eTeller - the online banking platform has a special feature to allow you to set up and receive alerts by email when transaction are posted to your account.

  • Our fraud department will now send you a text message if there are suspicious transactions on your debit or credit card. They will not ask you secure information such as passwords or PINs. Always respond to these messages to confirm or deny the transaction in question in order to catch, and stop, fraud in its tracks. This will help to protect you and your Credit Union from losses.

Beware of Scams:

Some people and companies are taking advantage of fears surrounding the spread of the virus. Do not let fear cloud your judgment when accessing links from emails and social media.  Follow these guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC): 

  • Use only reputable sources when searching for information about COVID-19.

  • Be aware of phishing emails and never click unknown attachments or links.

  • Be cautious of emails and phone calls offering unexpected information and asking for personal information.

  • No one has been authorized to go door to door to sell you an at-home testing kit, please do not get taken advantage of and report them immediately.
